Dead Rising 2 shuffling onto PC, PS3, 360

Have just checked at Shop2 and Amazon and they slate this as being released in Feb, 2010. Although Gamespot have it as being out next week. What the hell! Who is right?

"There are a couple of things they need to change, save system, time constrants,etc... but since it's Capcom they will change nothing, because they are ignorant." God, what a whiner. The save system gets so much undeserved hatred it's ridiculous. So what it had no autosave function? So what that sometimes you got trapped in a tight spot with time constraints? That's what gaming is about, experiencing and overcoming difficulties. And that's not me just writing off game flaws, that's the truth. I agree that there should have been at least ONE mode without time constraints of any kind, but if you can't handle that aspect of the story mode, don't play it, simple as that.

Will keep my eye on this game, Dead Rising 1 was alright.

There were tons of problems in the last game like the time limit, and bad saving function, anyhow it was still a amazing game and i look forward to this one and hope they fix some past bugs and have the survivors play a bigger role

This game already belongs to my PS3 pre-order. This game gonna look good on the PS3.

Most of the people who worked on the original game are working on this one. From the few screenshots shown the graphics look considerably better. Aside from that nobody knows anything about this game and your ranting on about it like you've played it for 50 hours or something. Close your mouth until it comes out and you play it.

what would make this game even more enjoyable would be a multiplayer aspect introduced into the series. Like Survivors vs. zombies...a co-op mode where you and a friend could play the game together...or more than one friend. Or even Survivors vs. Survivors vs. zombies that would just make the game insanely fun ..that is if the developers could make it interesting..Should be a good title.

Frank is in it. I just don't think he's a playable character from the start. He was in the trailer, so my guess is he's either a NPC or an unlockable character.

if they want the game to work why not trying the to release the news of this a little bit later

ladies and gentelman get ready for the most lamest zobie killing game ever why should i play this when this game releases.besides the resident evil 4 sounds way coool than this i suggest the capcom or what ever to stop making this game it is a peice of junk the only great thing is the graphics and thats no foolin anyone wants to dissagree be my guest of owner thanks!

dude i wanna ride in the hamster ball! some multiplayer might be nice. Mainly im just hoping for some more military grade weaponry. Maybe some more megaman X costumes or something. :P

getting this for sure I like how can you use everything as a weapon to kill the zombie in the 1st one lol

Thank God! I was suspecting that after like two years since its released that Capcom considered Dead Rising a closed book. I really hope to see no more time limit and better control scheme. Hamster Ball looks so cool!

My girlfriend and I fought constantly for time to play the original on x360. Maybe this time I'll buy the PS3 version too so she can stay off my x360..lol Then we can argue about which version is the best..you know.. kinda like some of you do all the time on these forums..lol

Dead Rising just wouldn't be right without a PC release - I hope it happens, and I hope it isn't a PORT.

Yes please at the very least have a limitless survival mode (and not one where your health keeps dropping unless you take out boss characters).

Yay finally the PS3 and the PC users get to enjoy dead rising, i loved the first one but i might have to get this one on PC in hope of a good mod community.

Yes, one of my favorite games of all times is back in action, thanks Capcom.

They better have Poker Cards acting as Shuriken Stars in this one.

I often think about playing through the original, but time limits combined with a ridiculous save system would only stress me out.

As long as they preserve what made the first game so great, while fixing it's handful of flaws (saving, having to answer cell phone) I'm all for it.
