Dress up as Santa and kill zombies dressed as elves.

Dead Rising 4 gets in the holiday spirit today with the launch of the zombie game's Stocking Stuffer Holiday Pack. As you can see in the announcement trailer above, Frank West faces off against zombies who are now dressed up as elves and snowmen.

You can wear a Santa suit and lay waste to the zombies with new weapons such as a "Candy Pain" and a baseball bat outfitted with barbed wire and Christmas lights. Additionally, you can drive around in a vehicle called "Santa's Little Melter," which is basically a motorcycle with a reindeer head on it that shoots lasers. On top of this, the game's selfie camera now has a holiday-themed border option.

The Stocking Stuffer Holiday Pack is included with Dead Rising 4's $20 season pass or can be purchased on its own for $5. Expansions coming in 2017 include Super Ultra Dead Rising 4 Mini Golf and Frank Rising.

In other news, Microsoft announced today that new difficulty options for Dead Rising 4's story mode will be available in early 2017. "Enemies do more damage, Frank's weapons break faster, and food restores less health than before," Microsoft said.

More details about the new difficulty settings will be shared in the New Year.

Dead Rising 4 is far from the only game celebrating the holidays with special content and events. Check out GameSpot's roundup to see all the games getting in the holiday spirit.
