I wish they put Dragon age 1 and 2 and Mass effect 1 and 2 also because i bought the game when they were securom and serial proctection before moving to origin. It would be nice for owners of those previous games to have a digital version for free. I already downloaded Dead Space 1 from this promotion i already own the retail version

Started using Origin last month for Titanfall, and now I get Dead Space for free? Awesome. I played the game when it first came out but never finished it, now I can.....even more sweet!

I downloaded it just SO Ea will have to pay the associated royalties to who ever.

Well for one Dead Space is still broken with game breaking glitches, even when currently downloading off origin, so I see why they are giving that junk away. Two, Origin will never replace steam because of their very limited game selection. EA......just keep making broken games and leave the game distribution to the STEAM machine.

I have dead space 1 on PC disc and don't have to use Origin but its bugged to hell and some times cant walk threw doors and it gets stuck so will try this. Still don't like Origin but free is free.

Last year or so EA has been doing a lot of stuff to try and fix their image. If I'm not mistaken, they were the first ones to drop online passes. And it seems (I might be mistaken here, though) that Bioware is getting a lot of freedom in developing the next Mass Effect. All I can hopeis that all this is a genuine effort to regain the consumers trust, and not a PR stunt.

They do try, we gotta give 'em that, and it's a good thing. Who knows, we might even get our old dear EA back. It's not going to happen, isn't it?

I already have Origin because I play BF4, downloading Dead Space as I type this.

I hope EA keeps to improving for customers like this. I know that gamers are still going to complain about this, but hey, what can you do? But with that said I don't like the fact he said they can appear and disappear whenever. Does it mean they'll have no adverts on Origin or not?

I know there is still some sort of gamer concensus that steam should be the only digital purchasing platform for games. I believe that this is not in the best interest of gamers. Steam is owned by a profit driven company and monopolizing their grasp on the digitial market is unconsiderate to say the least.

The problem is that we don't have a developer independent platform to run in the background checking the authenticity of the games.

This "hub" should link to digital purchasing platforms like steam and origin, making the customer much better able to choose among different sellers and better review prices and deals.

That's them saying thank you for not voting them as teh worst company.
