Dead Space Remake Won't Have Any Microtransactions, Says EA Motive

Want more money from your game after going safe with a remake? Do it well. Want even more? Create add on content that respect the customer from value, quality and price standpoint.

You do that, I'll bite.

Is it "we have no plans" or "we plan to have none" because those are kinda different... Either way, plans change and devs like to sell games with shiny trailers and pleasant promises that may or may not represent the actual product.

First Dead Space was really good for what it was, and Dead Space 2 had potential but was already being monetized in weird ways. And you have no horror aspect when there is MP aspect competing for kills.

Glad to see Dead Space will get a shiny new coat, with no content locked behind DLC paywalls. Of course EA will probably charge $70 for this game, but oh well.

My favorite quote by Adam Sessler was something like.... " EA has started monetizing all of their games with stuff like DLC at launch, cosmetics, extra characters, branching storylines, and heck even the last 1/3 of the game."

It's EA. They say stuff to sell shit. Until the game is in your hands, and it definitely does not have MTs...assume it will have MTs.

So we just wait until they're forced to announce whatever slimy additions they're really going to add.
