Def Jam Rapstar adds new cuts
Karaoke title welcomes new songs and instrumental beats for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3; tunes include Kanye West's "Jesus Walks," Drake's "Over," Eve's "Who's that Girl?"
Def Jam Rapstar, the hip-hop-themed karaoke title from 4mm Games, Terminal Reality, and Def Jam Interactive launched in early October behind generally positive reviews. In the past two weeks more than 16 new songs have arrived for the title, and now that figure balloons further.
Today 11 new songs and instrumental tracks came to the game. The Xbox 360 version received five new selections, and the PS3 iteration grabbed six. Those with an Xbox 360 and a copy of the game can today download Eve's "Who's That Girl," Kanye West's "Jesus Walks," and Young Money's "Every Girl." Instrumental tracks--used in the game's Freestyle component--added to the Xbox 360 version today include Just Blaze's "Cape Kingz Anthem" and Nitti's "Robbin' Cru."
For the PS3 audience, gamers can now download Drake's "Over," Flo Rida's "Right Around," Foxy Brown's "Get Me Home," and Rick Ross' "Hustlin'." Instrumental cuts added to the PS3 version today were Danja's "Stadium Status" and DJ Khalil's "The 15th."
Each song is available to download today for 160 MS points on Xbox Live and for $1.99 through the PlayStation Network. For more on Def Jam Rapstar, check out GameSpot’s review.
