Cinemaware has released two playable demos of its upcoming browser-based version of the classic action role-playing game Defender of the Crown, which was originally released on the Commodore Amiga in 1986. The demos are available on the new interactive Cinemaware Web site. Players can play through short sequences of sword fighting and siege warfare using any Shockwave-compatible browser. Cinemaware is also developing a sequel to the game called Robin Hood: Defender of the Crown, which is scheduled to be released on the PC in the spring of 2002. For more information about Cinemaware and to play the demos, visit the newly remodeled Web site, which also includes information on a number of original Cinemaware games and an extensive collection of screenshots and music downloads.
