Delta Force: Xtreme deployed to factory
Remake of the 1998 shooter includes new missions and drivable vehicles; game rages on PCs April 21.
NovaLogic today announced that Delta Force: Xtreme has gone gold and will be available later this week. NovaLogic, based in Calabasas, California, has developed numerous Delta Force titles, as well as the Joint Operations games. Delta Force: Xtreme is a remake of NovaLogic's original Delta Force title, which received good reviews when it was released in 1998.
Delta Force: Xtreme includes several of the missions from the original first-person shooter, and adds revamped graphics, new particle and weather effects, and new content. Cybersoldiers will be able to fight on 20 single-player missions that span three campaigns, 20 cooperative missions, and more than 20 multiplayer maps in a variety of modes, including deathmatch and king of the hill.
Delta Force: Xtreme is rated "T" for Teen and will retail for $19.99.
