Demon's Souls going downloadable on PSN

i got a question: if i play this from the digital version (the one you bought from the PS store)

will it load the game faster?

...so thats why servers will be down on the 7th or maybe 9th of this month for maintenance! plenty people playin already...cos i think gamers who played Dark S who never played Demon like myself are picking up the game which they realise so they releasing it on psn store. Dark Souls is harder and overall better but Demon is still a top game. Ive finished it already but im on New game + and another new game with a female character. This is excellent news....online coop will be a plenty.

That makes me extremely happy. I was really sad when I found out DS was going down. AWESOME.

I always wished they wouldve made a DLC for this game that repairs the 6th archstone which would open the gate to the Giants land...

Does anybody know why Atlus didn't publish Dark Souls(though probably wouldn't have been called Dark Souls in that case)?

Any tips for a person who's thinking about buying this game? Do I need a strategy guide? On a scale of 1 to 10 how hard is it? Are there bugs/glitches to watch out for? etc......

$20 is an absolute steal for this game. It's my second favorite right behind Dark Souls. I give the nod to Dark Souls for the open world and it seems like it has a bit bigger of a variety of enemies. I am not comepletely sure on the last one, but with the DLC it more than likely does. Not to mention Dark Souls is more polished.

. . . Wait, what? But it sold less than 2 million last I heard. You guys seriously wanna tell me it outmatched both Persona 3 and 4, PS2 all time classics?

. . . That's surprising. But not undeserved. Demon's Souls is one of PS3's best.

Demon's Souls is one of my favourite games. The World Tendency aspect was hard to get your head around at first, but once you did, it added an interesting layer to the game. I'd have liked to have seen the WT concept improved in Dark Souls but they completely removed it. Maybe it'll return in Dark Souls 2.

I have the Greatest Hits version and it's quite a pleasure seeing the red package while playing the game. Simply one of the best of my gamer life: so many things to do, many ways to costumize your character and uncountable ways to play. Demons's Souls is almost as new every time you turn on.

Both great. In some ways I enjoyed Demon's even more just because it was the first one... I went into Dark knowing basically what to expect.

Except for some good streamlining changes (no more bushels of different health items, no more MP gauge), Demon's is pretty much just as good as Dark.

It's hard to imagine what a thrill ride we were in for way back in 2009 when Demon's Souls released. This is my favorite and best RPG of this entire generation along with all my friends. Late 2011's Dark Souls (Which came close but couldn't topple Demon's Souls epic-ness and had a bit more bugs) is a close second though and deserves a shout out for being a fantastic spiritual sequel to the amazing Demon's Souls.

All because of Sony's Demon's Souls. What a mighty team up from Sony and From Software, that collaboration gave the entire world a new game that we would all love. I would love a Demon's Souls 2. In the meantime, I'm looking forward to From Software's solo project Dark Souls 2. It's a shame Hidetaka Miyazaki won't be lead director for the sequel, but he's still helping in the backround still.

Good news, this is the 2nd best RPG of the generation right after Dark Souls.
