@gamersince78: Great gun play is what people care about. It's an FPS. Kinda how Mario has excellent platform play, but not much for story or anything else.

@RELeon: Dead orbit should win by a landslide. Seems so many people picked Dead orbit on the first game. I loved the scout rifle from Dead orbit on Destiny 1... This one doesn't seem as good but I guess we'll see. Need some firefly perk on these guns! I have that exotic pulse rifle that makes the enemies explode when killed but they fly backwards before exploding which kinda defeats the point. I want a gun that makes an enemy explode with a headshot kill immediately as it's killed. If you know of any, let me know.

@rodoxthedark: Just do the milestones and you'll rank up fast. I went from where you are to about 289 in a week. And I only spent about 2 hours a day playing. Basically, while in orbit, check your challenges... Do what you can. Then if you haven't already, do all the adventures on the planets and those blue crown looking quests. The planet titan has a really easy way of doing 2 public events through fast travel, collecting chests and materials inbetween time. Also, do loot caches. There's some you can run through(Exodus black), run past the mobs and kill boss, collect loot, fast travel and repeat. (It's also great for a exotic quest requirement without saying a spoiler).

@rodoxthedark: I know the feeling. I was stuck with 272 gear non-stop that I felt like I was wasting my time. So I moved onto the other characters to get them started. When the following week had came by, I done a nightfall with the clan and once my gear reached the next level, it was back on track again. The milestones was the only thing that could break me from the 272 gear drops

@rodoxthedark: Im in the same kind of boat. I need Iron Banner to come back so at least I can play solo and earn some decent gear.

@rodoxthedark: You can still do Call to Arms and Flash points every week. Also Nightfall if you have a couple of friends. Those should give you quite the boost.

@Warlord_Irochi: They aren't actually capped at 265, that's just where the reputation rewards stop being a few points higher than your max power and start transitioning to a few points lower.

@Mogan: Sorry dude but the "Last Hope" sidearm is one of the best weapons in the game. Most stable 3 round burst gun out there. Give it a try and you will see that Sidearms deserve their own place in a faction.

@Mogan: The rewards for the event are supposed to be Power Weapons.

@Mogan: Hopefully it's not crap - some sidearms are seeing good play in Crucible.
