Destiny 2 Gameplay: Watch The First Nine Minutes Here

Well they have a 10 year plan for Destiny and were only a few years in ... interesting times ahead I guess, I liked the first one although there was plenty of room for improvement .. lets hope that some if mot all of that room has been filled with the 2nd Game !

Wake me up in September when there's a reason to get interested. The hype trains keep starting earlier and earlier.

Looking forward to it. These changes seem good and needed, while keeping the play style close so as not to estrange the player base. Nice graphic upgrade also.

I wish Gamespot would stop playing the same annoying add for every single video.

EDIT: It would also be nice if the video player stopped freezing and they stopped putting 10 minutes of nothing at the beginning of previously recorded live streams. It's not live anymore, you should not leave that at the beginning of a video, it's ridiculous.

im more interested in how hard will Destiny fans get milked with this one. never forget destiny and its so called 10 year life span

Let me guess, the story this time around really is going to be on the level of Lord of the Rings and Star Wars, lol. Sorry Bungie, but fool me once shame on you, fool me twice....well, you know how that saying goes. I rinsed my hands of Desitiny a LONG LONG ways back and have no intent on ever spending another penny on it. If Bungie creates a new IP somewhere down the road, I might decide to give them another chance. Until then, my money will continue to go elsewhere.

This begs me a question from other thread:

Is it an expansion/DLC or a physical/digital?

Looks Good ! The Mechanics and Gunplay on Destiny were really solid so pleased to see more of the same, hopefully the Game delivers on Story too !!

I'm unsure what the consensus is, but that gameplay actually looked really boring to me. It's the same old shallow gunplay, wait until the red bar is gone, move on to the next mob, shoot until the red bar is gone, rinse and repeat. It's not a particularly hard hitting or satisfying shooter in my opinion. Also jeez how many scripted events do they want in their prologue? That was essentially an on rails segment.

Destiny 2 Gameplay shows the world that nothing was changed, graphics are still the same, nothing cutting edge, gameplay mechanics are still the same, and you're still going to be shooting at bullet sponges.

So why release Destiny 2? Well, because there are those who played Destiny when it first came out, then left because they got bored/tired of it and never went back. Bungie is hoping that these people would find Destiny 2 refreshing and jump in for the $59.99 or $89.99 chump edition. You know who you are. Enjoy the game!
