Destiny 2 Vault Of Glass Loot Table: Vex Mythoclast Exotic, Weapons, And More

The full Destiny 2 Vault of Glass loot table is available now, after Bungie made changes to the reprised raid's crafting options.

Comments

Destiny 2's Vault of Glass raid is becoming increasingly popular following the launch of Episode 3: Heresy. The raid's weapons now have the ability to drop with new perks, and an exclusive origin trait: Timelost Magazine. Final blows using weapons with this trait grant bonus Super energy. When your Super expires, the weapon's magazine size is doubled for a long duration and reloads from reserves. Guardians can also finally craft weapons obtained in Vault of Glass.

We've split the loot tables by each encounter, so if you're looking for that god roll Found Verdict you'll be able to see which encounters you need to farm. For each weapon, we've also bolded the most desirable perks.

You can run through the raid or specific encounters on Master difficulty mode to get the Adept, or Timelost, versions of these weapons, too. Timelost weapons are similar to Adept versions, specific to Vault of Glass, in that they roll with two selectable perks per column, increasing your chances of getting a great roll. They also gain a small boost to their stats when Masterworked. The more patterns you've unlocked, the higher the likelihood is that you can find a Timelost weapon with a third perk option in column three or four.

Vex Mythoclast

Vex Mythoclast is an Exotic Solar fusion rifle with the Timeless Mythoclast and Temporal Unlimiter perks. While it may appear a fusion rifle at first, its Timeless Mythoclast perk grants it a full auto fire rate as its default firing mode. By defeating enemies, Temporal Unlimiter means Vex Mythoclast will generate stacks of Overcharge. Swap your firing mode when this is full to deliver powerful single-fire shots similar to linear fusion rifles.

If you're struggling to get Vex Mythoclast to drop from the Atheon encounter, completing Vault of Glass raid challenges and Triumphs will increase its drop rate. The Triumphs and challenges along with their completion criteria are:

  • Wait For It...: During the confluxes encounter, only defeat Wyverns while they're sacrificing.
  • The Only Oracle For You: Complete the Oracle encounter without destroying the same Oracle more than once.
  • Out Of Its Way: Defeat the Templar without allowing it to teleport.
  • Strangers In Time: During the Gatekeeper encounter, defeat the Wyvern and Praetorian Minotaur enemies within 3 seconds of each other.
  • Ensemble's Refrain: During the Atheon encounter, destroy no more than one Oracle per Oracle wave.
  • Break No Plates: Complete the Waking Ruins encounter while not losing a single sync plate to the Vex.
  • Dragon's Den: Complete the confluxes encounter while defeating Wyverns with only Super damage.
  • Take Cover: Don't defeat any Hobgoblins during the Oracles encounter.
  • Tempered Teleport: Complete the Templar encounter while never blocking the Templar's teleport.
  • Too Fast, Two Gorgons: Complete the Gorgons' Labyrinth encounter while defeating two or more Gorgons within three seconds of each other.
  • Rabid Relic: Complete the Gatekeepers encounter while only using Relic Super damage to defeat Praetorians.
  • Eyes On Atheon: Defeat Atheon without destroying any Supplicants.

Vex Mythoclast Catalyst

To get the Vex Mythoclast Catalyst you'll need to complete a series of five puzzles that span the entirety of the Vault of Glass raid. You'll find five plates within the raid. Someone with Vex Mythoclast equipped needs to stand on the plate to spawn Oracles around it. Shoot them in the order they appear. They are too far away for this to be easily done solo, and you'll want the help of fellow Guardians for efficiency. The first plate is in the opening arena, on the right inside a cave. The second plate is before the secret chest area ahead of the Templar encounter. The third plate is after the Templar but before the Gorgons. The fourth plate is between the Gorgons and the Gatekeeper: jump to the right and follow the wall line. The fifth plate is in the same area, but located on a platform across from the entrance to the Gatekeeper.

The Vex Mythoclast catalyst means that when it's in full auto mode, final blows grant bonus damage, accuracy, and stability for a short duration.

Now that you're up to speed with the loot table and Vault of Glass craftable weapons, why not check out all of the new Destiny 2 Heresy weapons that have been added to the game?
