Comments

Xur's back in the solar system in Destiny 2, bringing a new slate of Exotics for you to grab. If you're still working on the Iron Banner quest or checking out the new Proving Ground Strike, you'll likely want all the great gear you can get. Here's what Xur's selling and where you can find him.

Head to the Tower, to the Hangar area, to find Xur this week. For his weapon, Xur is offering Sweet Business. Hunters can pick up the Lucky Raspberry chest armor; for Titans, there's the One-Eyed Mask helmet; and for Warlocks, Xur has the Chromatic Fire chest armor.

Xur Location

Spawn in at the central Tower transmat zone and turn left to head down the stairs to the Hangar. At the bottom of those stairs, hang another left and pass under the structure to find a catwalk staircase in the back corner of the area, to the north. Xur is up the stairs a bit, surveying the Last City below.

You'll find Xur near the edge of the area in the Hangar, on a landing up a flight of stairs.

Xur Exotic Items

Xur is offering Sweet Business this week, and oldie but goodie Exotic auto rifle. It's a huge minigun with a massive magazine and a fast firing rate, putting out a ton of ammo and great for mopping up hordes of enemies. If you're not a fan of his other options, Xur also sells an Exotic engram that will decrypt into an Exotic you don't already own. He also has the new Xenology Quest, which rewards an Exotic Cipher you can use to purchase Exotics from either Xur or the Tower's Monument to Lost Lights. The quest requires you to either complete Strikes or win matches in Gambit and the Crucible.

  • Exotic Engram -- 97 legendary shards
  • Sweet Business -- 29 legendary shards
  • Lucky Raspberry -- 23 legendary shards
  • One-Eyed Mask -- 23 legendary shards
  • Chromatic Fire -- 23 legendary shards
  • Xenology quest -- free

Sweet Business (Assault Rifle)

Sweet Business spits out a lot of bullets very quickly, making it ideal for mowing down lots of enemies at once. It's also a pretty solid Crucible option for team play.

Sweet Business is about putting a lot of bullets into a target very quickly. The gun has a massive magazine and fires very quickly, and especially with the Exotic Catalyst installed, it can get pretty decent range, too. It's made to be fired from the hip Terminator-style, allowing you to tear through a whole bunch of thralls or dregs with ease. It's still a decent Crucible option too, especially if you intend to stick close to teammates and team-shoot your opponents.

Lucky Raspberry (Hunter)

Arc Bolt grenades are made even deadlier with Lucky Raspberry, creating some lethal lightning chains.

It's all about the Arc Bolt grenades with Lucky Raspberry. The chest armor makes your grenades send chain lightning arcing to more enemies when they stand close together, and each time it bounces to someone new, there's a chance it'll recharge your grenade energy. If you manage to chain to the maximum number of baddies, your grenade fully recharges, so if you're looking to zap everyone around you, Lucky Raspberry can help.

One-Eyed Mask is a reliable Crucible Exotic that rewards you for winning fights, making those two-on-one battles a little easier.
One-Eyed Mask is a reliable Crucible Exotic that rewards you for winning fights, making those two-on-one battles a little easier.

For a while, One-Eyed Mask dominated in the Crucible. It's been nerfed a bit since those days, but this is still a reliable PvP Exotic that will help keep you alive. The Exotic highlights any enemy that deals damage to you, then gives you an overshield if you manage to hunt them down and kill them. That basically means if you win a duel against another player, you get a shield that can save you when his buddy rounds the corner to help out. This is a weak roll for the Exotic, so skip it if you don't need it, but if you don't have One-Eyed Mask in your collection, it's still a decent get.

Chromatic Fire makes every enemy a potential bomb, provided you can land precision blows with your Kinetic weapon.

Blowing up a bunch of enemies at once is the modus operandi of Chromatic Fire. The Exotic creates explosions that match your Light subclass every time you land a precision kill with your Kinetic weapon--it essentially turns enemies into bombs whenever you land a headshot. If you're a crack shot or facing a lot of enemies, that can be very helpful in PvE scenarios.
