Destiny's Holiday Event, "The Dawning," Begins Today

Destiny celebrates the holidays with a new update.

Destiny's holiday update, The Dawning, comes out today on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for people who own the Rise of Iron expansion. Bungie announced on Twitter today that the update that introduces it, 2.5.0, will arrive today at 10 AM PT for both consoles.

The Dawning includes a bunch of new, cool-looking gear (not all of which was designed by Bungie) for all three classes, and also brings back the Sparrow Racing League and introduces scoring for Strikes. Along with those activities, there are new quests, weapons, sparrows, and other gear to collect.
