Devolver Direct 2020 Coming Very Soon--Expect New Game Reveals
Devolver Digital has announced a date and details for its upcoming Devolver Direct, which will contain new games, gameplay reveals, and more weirdness.
The Devolver Direct date that the publisher has been teasing has now been revealed. The Devolver Direct 2020 is going to stream on Twitch, Steam, and elsewhere on July 11 at 12 PM PT.
The press release sent announcing this news contains the sardonic humor you'd expect from the publisher, promising that "the seventh best indie game label will step up to the plate once more and whiff real hard with a live pre-recorded presentation."
The presentation will contain some reveals of new games, alongside new gameplay footage, release dates, and special guest presenters. Demos of Carrion, Disc Room, and "an unannounced game" have also been promised, and the footage we see from games will be "nearly all gameplay."
It's advised that people rewatch last year's Devolver Direct before this one, to make sure they're on top of the plot, and remember where chief synergy officer Nina Struthers was by the end of last year's video.

At least some of the presentation is likely to focus on Serious Sam 4, although this has not actually been confirmed.
Devolver Direct is usually released during E3, but of course this year E3 did not happen. This won't be the only games event over the July 10-12 weekend, as Ubisoft will also present a digital showcase on July 12.
