The PlayStation 4 version of Diablo III: Reaper of Souls will support Remote Play, lead level designer Matthew Berger told GameSpot today at an event in New York City.
"As long as PS4 supports Remote Play, Reaper of Souls will support it," Berger said.
Three days ago at BlizzCon, Berger told GameSpot that Blizzard had no immediate plans to support Remote Play for the PS4 version of Diablo III due to various UI and experience issues related to the PlayStation Vita's screen size. However, he did say that the idea for Remote Play support was "percolating" in the back of the developer's mind.
The Reaper of Souls expansion for Diablo III will be released on PS4 as part of the Ultimate Evil Edition in 2014.
Remote Play allows certain console games to be played on the PS Vita. Nintendo offers similar functionality for the Wii U, allowing users to play some games completely off-screen via the GamePad.
