Announced back in December of last year, The Bad Batch tells the story of Clone Force 99 who rebel against the Empire and become mercenaries and soldiers against the Empire. Tuesday morning, Disney dropped a new trailer, giving you a look at the troop and what they're all about. Check it out below.

This is our first real look at Hunter, Echo, Tech, Wrecker, and Crosshair and the beginning of their adventure from Stormtroopers to soldiers of fortune. Dee Bradley Baker reprises his role as the clone officers as well as Ming-Na Wen as Fennec Shaw.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch will act as both a prequel and sequel to the original Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series, but with now expanded mythology. In the trailer, we see Admiral Tarkin, voiced by Stephen Stanton, come to grips that not all clones are indeed created equal and orders their destruction once rebellion starts to show in their characteristics.

Fans might remember Echo was a prominent side character in the Clone Wars series, but he was thought to be dead after sacrificing himself in an explosion. We see now he was rescued by The Bad Batch.

Dave Filoni will be one of the executive producers on the show as well as the likes of Carrie Beck who has worked on other Star Wars shows like Rebels, The Mandolorian, Resistance, and Forces of Destiny.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch premieres on Disney+ (part of the Disney bundle) on May 4, which is also known as Star Wars Day.
