Does Among Us Have Crossplay?
Among Us supports crossplay on PC and mobile in both local and online multiplayer. Here's how it works.
Among Us has quickly become one of the most popular games of 2020 for its silly party game antics, but also because it's relatively accessible across a handful of platforms-- it's even free to play on a few. Its crossplay functionality means that even if you're playing on one platform, you can still connect to a game with friends, family, or strangers playing on a different one, opening the game up even further. Here's how Among Us crossplay works and which platforms it's compatible with across PC and mobile.
Among Us Crossplay Platforms
Among Us supports crossplay in local and online multiplayer for the following platforms:
- PC (Steam and itch.io)
- iOS (App Store)
- Android (Google Play)
That means players on PC or mobile, both iOS and Android, can play in the same game together. It also doesn't matter which platform the host is on.
How To Play Among Us Crossplay
Playing a match of Among Us with players on different platforms requires no additional steps. You just need to host or join an online or local match like you normally would.

A sequel for Among Us was announced and then promptly canceled after the developer cited the rising popularity of the base game, which was originally released to little fanfare in 2018 before sales exploded just this year. According to developer Innersloth, everything planned for the canned Among Us 2 will now be worked into the first game. Whether or not those updates include PS4 or Xbox One console ports for Among Us remains to be seen.
