More details about Donkey Kong 64 were unveiled during an event at the company's US headquarters. You play as five characters throughout the game, Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Tiny, Chunky, and Lanky. Each character will have specific moves that will be crucial to completing every goal. There will be eight worlds and each character will have five goals to complete in each of those worlds.

Also, the game will have two multiplayer modes. The first is a four-player fight mode that takes place on one screen. The other is a third-person shooter mode, which splits the screen and gives the characters weapons like pineapple-launching bazookas.

In addition, GameSpot News has learned that the original Donkey Kong will be available as a secret playable level.

When the game releases on November 22, there will also be a "Jungle Green" version of the featuring a clear green N64, an expansion pak, and the yellow Donkey Kong 64 cart.
