Donkey Kong Country Is Coming To Super Nintendo World Orlando
Universal Studios confirms that Epic Universe theme park will also include the Dark Universe and more Harry Potter.
Nintendo of America and Universal Theme Parks have confirmed that the long-awaited Super Nintendo World expansion is opening at Universal Orlando’s upcoming Epic Universe in 2025. The Orlando resort looks to be an improvement and offers more room for expansion compared to the relatively limited space of the Hollywood park.
Initially announced last year, Orlando will also feature the Donkey Kong expansion announced by Nintendo and Universal Studios earlier this year. Still no confirmation on a Luigi's Mansion ride, unfortunately. Donkey Kong Country hits Super Nintendo World Japan later this year. There will be two new Power Up band designs that feature Donkey Kong imagery as well along with the Mine Cart Madness ride, named after the iconic, and difficult, Mine Cart Carnage levels of Donkey Kong Country for the Super Nintendo.

Super Nintendo World is just one part of Universal's Epic Universe, which features five new areas to explore: Celestial Park, Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Ministry of Magic, Dark Universe, and How to Train Your Dragon--Isle of Berk.
"Epic Universe is built on an amazing concept," said director Steven Spielberg about the parks in a new featurette. "The idea that you can go into a world through some kind of portal and you come out into a world you could never dream of and you can experience it. I think it's going to feed the imagination of so many people of all ages."
