Full QuakeCon 2018 Schedule: Fallout 76, Doom Eternal, Quake Champions, And More
Doom, and Fallout, and Quake, oh my!
QuakeCon 2018 takes place August 9-12. Prior to the start of the annual convention, developer and publisher Bethesda Softworks announced what people can expect to see from the event. Several panels and tournaments are scheduled--most of which will be live streamed via Twitch, and there will also be new looks at upcoming games.
QuakeCon starts with The Elder Scrolls: Legends Masters Series qualifiers on Thursday, August 9. The tournament will continue to Friday and pit 16 of the world's best Legends players in a series of matches for a $50,000 prize. The entire tournament can be watched from The Elder Scrolls: Legends Twitch account.
The next major event is the Quake Champions tournament on Friday, which continues to Sunday. Teams of two will shoot it out for a share of the $175,000 prize pool. The top eight teams will have the chance to compete in a one-on-one, winner-take all showdown for an additional $25,000 prize. The entire event will be streamed live on the Quake Twitch account.
Also on Friday is a keynote presentation at 9 AM PST / 11 AM CT. The keynote will address Quake Champions, Rage 2, and The Elder Scrolls Online, and reveal the first gameplay demo for Doom Eternal. You can watch the keynote live from the Bethesda Twitch account. If you've linked your Bethesda.net and Elder Scrolls Online accounts with your Twitch account, watching the keynote on Twitch makes you eligible for winning some rewards.
