Doom: The Dark Ages is nearly here. The follow-up to Doom Eternal launches on Xbox Series X|S, Game Pass, PS5, and PC on May 15. Doom Anthology

While Doom: The Dark Ages is the third game in the new Doom reboot trilogy that started with Doom 2016 and followed by Doom Eternal in 2020, The Dark Ages is a prequel that takes place before the events of Doom 2016, which canonically places it in the middle of the main Doom series timeline. Yes, Doom has lore, and The Dark Ages seems to be expanding the universe quite a bit. If you're looking to catch up on the full series before The Dark Ages launches in May, you're in luck--not only are the classic games in the series still great to play, you can pick up the full collection of games with the Doom Anthology.
