With the release of Dragon Ball FighterZ drawing closer, Bandai Namco Games took to Twitter to release info about the required specs needed for the game's PC version. The game will release for PC, PS4, and Xbox One on January 25. Developed by Arc System Works, the same team behind the Guilty Gear and BlazBlue series, Dragon Ball FighterZ possesses a visual style that mimics the popular anime.

In addition to the specs listed below, the publisher offered more details about pre-order bonuses for the game, which include early access to Goku and Vegeta's Super Saiyan Blue forms, along with exclusive avatars to use in the in-game lobby. Moreover, pre-ordering the game gave you access to the pre-launch beta, which has now passed. The game is currently available to pre-order on Steam.

@lonesamurai1: The best players will be on PS4. Some will sprinkle to the Xbox. PC will have the Melty Blood players from Central/South America.

@mcnichoj: I think it's the other way around. Your average Central/South American doesn't have the disposable income for a high end PC. I guess they can play on old PC's but may as well get a console in that case.

@mcnichoj: Best players on PS4 hahahahahah with that shitty PSN service, no one will be the best. Plus, ps4 players don't actually play games the exclusives sales prove it

@chillingnaire: I'm what you would call an Xbot but it would really be a fools errand to believe the top Fighting Game Community players don't mostly play on the PS4. Xbox One's have/had problems being left on for too long. PS4 was more stable for long term use and more of them are out there so people having spares available for tournaments is a non-issue.

@mcnichoj: Ok well for fighting games, that makes sense. I thought you meant the best gamers overall are on PS4. Lol

@lonesamurai1: I mean it's possible. I totally did have my PC set up on my TV and was playing 4k Mortal Kombat just the other week with Steam controllers (which suck but regardless shows the concept is feasible). I just don't think there's mass adoption, YET

@lonesamurai1: Japanese are typically very poor at VS style games.

@lonesamurai1: *Ms.

Also just look at actual facts: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evolution_Championship_Series
You might ask "what about CvS!?" well those are completely different from the modern fast paced VS tag games of today.

@torrentshark007: "PC is piracy plagued faceless platform" Do you always regurgitate trash from the 00's? piracy hasn't been an issue for ages, which there still isn't any proof it ever was an issue.

@torrentshark007:I will mostly stay out of this because i know there is no changing some peoples minds, i'm posting because i find it comical that you complain about piracy with a display name with the word torrent in it. PC piracy happens but it in smaller numbers every year, I admit I used to pirate games in the 90's and early 00's but I have not pirated a PC game in a very long time now. There really is no point to trash talking any platform though and I always assume it's a matter of jealousy when i see it, real gamers don't hate games just because of the platform it's on. I am not a PC fanboy or any platform fanboy as I own every platform.

@drunk_punk: I prefer my PC. I have a PS4 pro but it's dog ass slow in 4k.

My PC with my 1080TI looks beautiful on my 100hz ultra wide 2k monitor. Ain't no way in hell am I ever getting the same experience on a console. Sorry but console is gaming on a budget.

PS4 Pro is a great deal and gives you alot for the ~$500 it costs, but you're out of your mind if you think the experience compares to what a high end PC can give you.

@ecs33: I also prefer gaming on PC most of the time but I really like games like the last of us, Zelda, and bloodbourne too. PC of course looks better but looking better doesn't always mean it's a better game, if it's cross platform and your PC can handle it then PC will be the best option almost always.

@drunk_punk: Agree, I'm the same way. I own consoles for its exclusives and for the "party play" element which you don't typically get out of PC. I prefer to be an owner of both and am as they both have specific use cases.

I'm even thinking of upgrading to dual 1080 ti's since I can just mine crypto currencies when im not using it. I could literally pay for the upgrade in less than a year.
