Dragon Quest XI Definitive Edition For Nintendo Switch Release Date Announced At E3 2019
Take the RPG on the go.
Following a new trailer that aired during the Square Enix E3 2019 press conference, Nintendo and Square Enix have confirmed a release date for Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age Definitive Edition for Nintendo Switch. The game will release on September 27. Previously, Square Enix had only confirmed a generic "Fall 2019" release window. You can check out the new release date trailer above.
As announced previously, the Definitive Edition features all the content from the original, along with even more character-specific stories. It also includes orchestral music for battle scenes and other key moments, while one of the other defining features is how you can toggle between high-definition and 16-bit visuals. The game also comes with Japanese and English voice tracks, so you have a number of options to play the way you want to.
Dragon Quest XI Definitive Edition was first announced for Nintendo Switch during a Nintendo Direct briefing back in February.
