The device will compete against THQ's uDraw GameTablet, but it offers its own set of unique features. In addition to free-form drawing, the peripheral will support tracing as the tablet's screen features a translucent layer that can display reference images. SD card functionality will also allow sharing of artistic works.
Two games will come in the Drawsome Tablet package: Drawsome Artist and Drawsome Sketch Quest. Artist will feature the Smurfs and will allow players to draw, paint, or sketch on their own or learn advanced techniques via step-by-step guides. Sketch Quest will have players helping animals navigate races by drawing various objects in the world.
No pricing details have been revealed regarding Ubisoft's family-oriented peripheral, but it is currently available for preorder on Amazon for $59.99.
