Xenopi Studios, a small developer located in Portland, Ore., has announced a first-person multiplayer action game, Dreadnoughts. The game takes place in the distant future during a battle between competing factions over control of different planets. Players assume the role of several crew members on enormous dreadnought ships. The crew members must work together in order to survive battles against enemy dreadnoughts. Some of the different player classes include combat warrior, ship engineer, siege warrior, scout, and sniper. In addition, players can take strategic command of a dreadnought on the command bridge. The game engine currently supports up to eight players per team.
