Dreamcast Mod Chip Announced
Import game retailer NCS announces that it will soon offer mod chips that lets players play games from foreign markets.
Import game retailer National Console Support (NCS) announced on its web site that it will soon offer a safe and reliable mod chip for the Dreamcast console. The retailer had previously attempted mod solutions using a dual bios, but has now found a new cheaper and more effective method. The chip can be placed in any American, Asian, or Japanese Dreamcast, and it will let users play software from all markets.
According to NCS, the new mod chip will be available in the next two weeks at a price of US$55 - $60. For more information on the mod, check out the NCS web site, linked on the right.
