Dreamcast price drop confirmed in Japan

Sega has announced that it will drop the price of its Dreamcast unit to 9,900 yen (about US$86) in Japan on March 1. This applies to all models, including the Hello Kitty and Sakura Wars limited-edition packages. With this move, Sega of Japan is following the lead of Sega of America, which recently confirmed a price drop to $99.95 in the North American territory.
