Dreamcast Virtua Striker 2 Ships

Sega of America announced on Tuesday that Virtua Striker 2 for the Sega Dreamcast has shipped to stores. The game is now available at retailers nationwide at a price of US$49.95.

"Before the arrival of the Sega Dreamcast, moving from arcade to console meant losing key aspects of a game," said Martha Hill, director of sports marketing for Sega of America. "Sega Dreamcast has removed the element of compromise. Short of the scent of cut grass and the taste of sliced oranges, Virtua Striker 2 has it all."

Virtua Striker 2 was reviewed today by videogames.com editor James Mielke, who said "Virtua Striker 2 is a classic example of good ideas gone horribly wrong." He gave the title a score of 4.7.
