DreamCatcher Games announces that it will publish Primal Software's upcoming strategy game in North America and Europe. New screens inside.
DreamCatcher Games has today announced that it will publish Besieger in both North America and Europe. The real-time strategy game, which is currently in development at Moscow-based Primal Software, is set in a medieval fantasy world in which players battle as either Viking or Cimmerian warriors.
Besieger will feature both a story-driven single-player campaign and multiplayer support for up to 16 players. Players will have access to more than 40 building types and around 50 different units, including everything from lowly workers to soldiers on horseback to primitive flying machines.
Besieger is currently scheduled for release in spring 2004 and will ship with its own map editor and script-language support. For more information, check out our previous coverage of the game.
