Dress FFXIII protagonist Lightning in a outfit made almost entirely of moogles

DLC for the Japanese version of Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII allows players to adorn protagonist Lightning with an outfit made almost entirely of moogles.

The game is now out in Japan, and Siliconera reports that the premium Lovable Moogle DLC comes with Moogle Queen outfit, Moogle stick weapon, and a Moogle shield.

Alongside the Loveable Moogle pack, Square Enix has also released the Holy Asgard and Ultimate Liberator costume packs. Costumes are sold individually for ¥400 (roughly $4) or the three can be purchased together for ¥1,000 (about $9.80).

Square Enix declined to comment when asked by GameSpot if these specific costume packs would make the US and Europe.

Square Enix previously announced in July that those who preorder Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII can outfit Lightning in FFVII protagonist Cloud Strife's iconic threads.

Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII will be released in the US and Europe in February 2014.
