DualShock 4 touchpad is clickable
Touchpad on DualShock 4 controller can be clicked in, though no gameplay purposes yet revealed.
The DualShock 4's touchpad can be clicked in, GameSpot confirmed on the E3 show floor today. It is unclear how this functionality will be used in games, and a Sony representative declined to go into further detail.
The touchpad is one of the DualShock 4's most noted additions from past iterations of the controller.
Blizzard Entertainment has confirmed that the touchpad will be used for inventory management in Diablo III, but has not gone into further detail on how this will work.
The PlayStation 4 launches this year at $399, a full $100 below the Xbox One.
