DuckTales Reboot Has a Great Voice Cast, Watch Them Sing the Theme Song
Actors from Doctor Who, Saturday Night Live, and Parks and Rec are voicing the Disney show.
Disney has announced the voice cast for the DuckTales revival--and it's seriously strong. Doctor Who veteran David Tennant plays Scrooge McDuck, while Danny Pudi (Community), Ben Schwartz (Parks and Rec), and Bobby Moynihan (Saturday Night Live) voice Huey, Dewey, and Louie, respectively. Beck Bennett (Saturday Night Live) plays Launchpad, Toks Olagundoye (Castle) voices Mrs. Beakley, and Kate Micucci (Scrubs) brings Webby Vanderquack to life.
Disney put out a wonderful video today of the cast members singing the iconic DuckTales theme song. Take a look:
The new DuckTales premieres in summer 2017 on Disney XD. Matt Youngberg (Ben 10: Omniverse) is the show's executive producer. The first image was released earlier this year--check it out here.
The original DuckTales series ran from 1987 to 1990.
The latest DuckTales game was 2013's DuckTales Remastered, which was developed by WayForward and published by Capcom. "Life is like a hurricane...of sadness," we said in our 4.5/10 critique.
