E3 2011: Raving Rabbids: Alive & Kicking Kinect-ing this fall
Ubisoft announces new whimsical party series entry exclusive to Xbox 360 and its motion controller; due out November 8.
LOS ANGELES--The rabbids are alive and kicking. Today at Ubisoft's E3 2011 media briefing, the French publisher announced that the Raving Rabbids will return this fall as an exclusive for Microsoft's console.
Raving Rabbids: Alive & Kicking will ship exclusively for the Xbox 360 on November 8, and will leverage the system's popular Kinect motion-control technology.
According to the game's demonstration at Ubisoft's briefing, Alive & Kicking boasts an "augmented reality" emphasis. This was displayed by an Ubisoft representative stomping on a mess of rabbids that virtually appeared on stage (pictured at right).
The most recent Raving Rabbids game was the warmly received 3DS and Wii title Raving Rabbids: Travel in Time. For more information on what Ubisoft announced during its media briefing today, check out GameSpot's Ubisoft live blog archive.
