Criterion, the studio best known for the Burnout series, announced during EA's E3 2014 press conference that its next game retains the studio's focus on racing and crashing, but goes way beyond cars, including helicopters, ATVs, planes, jet skis, wingsuits and more.

Inspired by action footage daredevils capture and upload onto Youtube, the unnamed game takes place in first person, even when you're controlling a vehicle. The trailer combined crude prototype footage of the game with concept art.

GameSpot will bring you more information on Criterion's latest as it becomes available

The first person perspective bugs me slightly, but I guess it worked for Mirror's Edge so we'll see.

So now they don't even feel obligated to name their games before showing at E3.

And that makes sense, if the game is not coiming out in 3 years or more like most games shown at E3 today.

I love Criterion. It's no surprise that I'll be hyped to hell for this.

Is this made by the four people left from the Criterion team or are they just using the developer's name to promote a new game.

<< LINK REMOVED >> Think for yourself. And remember all those hundreds of "BioWare" studios.

Criterion is no more. So is Rare.

I've hated pretty much every game they've ever developed. I don't think anything's going to change anytime soon.
