Nintendo showed off several figurines for its upcoming Amiibo figurine program during yesterday's E3 presentation, but the company may have given us a tease at some unrevealed characters that it plans on bringing to the program soon as well.

The image above, captured from the Nintendo live stream, shows the following unconfirmed character portraits floating to Amiibo:
- Mr. Game & Watch
- Pikmin
- 8-bit Mario
- Toad
- Bowser
- Tom Nook
- Isabelle
- Toon Link
- Luigi

The figurines on hand at the Nintendo booth (with the caveat right on the display case that they're "Prototypes: Not Final Configuration") include:
- Princess Zelda
- Marth
- Wii Fitness Trainer
- Donkey Kong
- Fox McCloud
- Princess Peach
- Samus Aran
- Pit
- Link
- Yoshi
- Animal Crossing Villager
- Pikachu
- Kirby
- Mario
While the focus for Amiibo right now is obviously on Super Smash Bros., some of the characters teased in the image above haven't yet been confirmed for an appearance in Nintendo's brawler. Mr. Game & Watch made a cameo in the Pac-Man reveal trailer, so maybe he'll return as a support trophy. Isabelle has been confirmed as a trophy already, and she'll likely share that role with Tom Nook. That only leaves us to conjecture about the role 8-bit Mario and Toad may play in the game.
Nintendo has an almost limitless pantheon of characters to choose from, and most of the characters above seem like pretty obvious choices to put out as figurines. But what unannounced character do you most want to see as an Amiibo figurine? Let us know in the comments below.
