E3 2017: Watch Assassin's Creed Origins' New Mysteries Of Egypt Trailer
Hippos, lions, camels, and more.
At Ubisoft's E3 2017 press conference today, the publisher released a new trailer for Assassin's Creed: Origins. Although it doesn't consist of any gameplay, it does give a glimpse of the game's world and what its engine is capable of.
It shows a lot of the animals and people that you'll encounter, too. Since Origins is set in Egypt, the Nile and its surrounding ecosystems will significantly affect gameplay. Lions and other creatures can be released from their cages to wreak havoc on outposts, while you can ride camels and chariots to get around.
It also looks like there'll be quite a bit of wildlife: the trailer shows off hippos and other wild animals. You can see the new Mysteries of Egypt trailer above. Assassin's Creed: Origins launches on October 27 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It'll feature enhancements on PS4 Pro and the recently announced Xbox One X.
