It will sell very well regardless of date, but that is a good release date. Most people will just preorder it/have it be a Christmas gift. It's looking like 2019 is the year for a lot of the games we've been waiting for guys. 2018 should still have a few more gems though..We're only half-way done.

I still think this game should not be on xbox one there is no legacy games on xbox one but there is with Nintendo , this should be strictly ps4 and switch. why aren't square enix sorting this out?

it will sell much better in january. for a game that has been in development for 5+ years, does it really matter at this point? keep in mind that dragon quest xi is releasing in september and s-e would want to leave a sizeable gap between releases as to not hurt the sales potential of either title (there is competitive overlap).

i am being very cautious with kh3... i think there will be some major dlc that rears its ugly head down the line -- possibly a new world or two and lots of additional story content. better off waiting for the complete edition in the fall of 2019 in my opinion. considering how s-e has handled ffxv, we may not get the full, self contained story in the base release of kh3. in fact, i would be shocked if we did.

The beginning of 2019 is going to be jam packed with big name games. Days Gone, Anthem, and now this? E3 isn't even over yet, either.
