EA acquires Studio 33
UK racing-game developers to park their cars in EA Northwest's garage.
Publishing juggernaut Electronic Arts added another studio to its empire today, announcing that it has acquired the Liverpool, England-based Studio 33. Most famous for its Formula One and Destruction Derby series, which were published by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe and are not part of the deal, the 75-person developer will relocate to EA Northwest's offices in nearby Warrington, England.
