EA and Fox Ink OEM Deal

Electronic Arts will distribute PC content to OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) hardware manufacturers under a new deal announced today.

A statement issued by both companies also said the companies will be looking for opportunities to integrate technologies like MPEG2, 3-D graphics, and 3-D audio into the products.

Fox's PC upcoming games include Croc and Aliens vs. Predator. The company is also working on The X-Files: Unrestricted Access and The Simpsons: Virtual Springfield, which are interactive multimedia products.
