EA reveals GameCube FIFA 2002 release date

At a press event held yesterday, Electronic Arts stated that it will release FIFA 2002 for the Nintendo GameCube in November of this year. The PlayStation 2 version of FIFA 2002 is scheduled to hit retail around the same time. When asked about FIFA 2002 for the Xbox, EA stated that it would not be released for Microsoft's upcoming console. However, EA's Road to the World Cup will be released on all three platforms sometime next year.
