EA ships Battlefield 1942 expansion

Electronic Arts announced the availability of a new expansion pack for Battlefield 1942, developed by Digital Illusions.

Following the Road to Rome expansion released earlier this year, Secret Weapons of WWII features eight combat campaigns offering secret or experimental WWII vehicles and weapons in remote locations, including a V2 rocket research facility in Peenemunde, northern Germany, and Hitler's Hideaway at the Eagle's Nest.

The original, stand-alone Battlefield 1942 is required to play the current expansion.
