Electronic Arts announces that it has signed Dick Vitale and Steve Francis for March Madness 2000 on the PlayStation.
Electronic Arts announced on Tuesday that it has signed Dick Vitale and Steve Francis to participate in the development and marketing of NCAA March Madness 2000. According to EA, Vitale, a popular ESPN commentator, and Francis, last year's Maryland All-American, will contribute ideas to the game development team and will serve as spokespeople for the March Madness franchise.
"It's just awesome baby to join the EA Sports March Madness team," said Dick Vitale, ESPN college-basketball host. "We share a love and passion for college hoops, and together we can bring this message home to video-game consumers nationwide."
NCAA March Madness 2000 for the PlayStation ships in December with a suggested retail price of US$39.95.
