Earth & Beyond pricing announced

Westwood has announced the pricing for its first online role-playing game, Earth & Beyond. The monthly fee for the game will be $12.99, and there will be discounts for players who pay for three or six months at a time. In addition to accepting credit cards, Westwood will offer players the option to purchase 90 days of playtime by buying "Game Time" cards that will be sold in retail stores.

"Our goal is to offer players as many options as possible when subscribing to the game," said Craig Alexander, vice president and executive producer of Earth & Beyond. "We've worked hard to create an accessible massively multiplayer game. In addition to choosing how they want to play--whether it's exploring, trading, or fighting--players can also choose exactly how they want to pay for the subscription."
