Elder Scrolls Online Update Adds HDR Support on Xbox One
A new update for Bethesda's MMO has arrived.
A new patch for The Elder Scrolls Online is out now for Xbox One, adding support for high-dynamic range (HDR), as well as more items and a series of bug fixes. As outlined in a blog post from Bethesda, the patch is quite large, coming in at around 5.9 GB in size.

To see the benefits of HDR, you will need an Xbox One S and a supported TV. Bethesda also mentioned that there is a slider in the UI settings that can be used to adjust the brightness of the HDR effects. The developer suggested following Microsoft's recommendations to get the best-looking experience.
The Elder Scrolls Online is just the latest Xbox One game to support HDR, which makes games look more vibrant and luminous. Check out this roundup to see all the Xbox One titles that support HDR.
On PS4 Pro, The Elder Scrolls Online also supports HDR.
The update also adds the Mythic Aetherial Ambrosia item to the game. It's an "incredibly rare, incredibly potent" version of the Psijic Ambrosia--drinking it grants you a 150 percent bonus experience gain. You need to craft Mythic Aetherial Ambrosia, and to do that, you need to first find an Aetheric Cipher, as well as a special recipe. Read this blog post to learn more.
As for bug fixes, this patch contains loads of them. One problem fixed in the update was where water obtained from bottles, backpacks, and urns did not scale appropriately to your level. Additionally, the patch fixes an issue where Daedra Hearts would not drop from humanoid daedra, as well as a problem where some quest pins would not show up as they should on the compass or map.
