Etherlords enters second beta test

Fishtank Interactive has announced that its upcoming 3D turn-based strategy game, Etherlords, has entered the second phase of beta testing. The second phase includes more than 1,100 players from around the world. The third phase, which will include the multiplayer part of the game, is scheduled to begin in two weeks.

Etherlords combines strategic resource management with a combat system based on collectible-card games. Players will lead one of four races in an epic war for control of the world. Each race features more than 120 unique creatures that players can summon to do battle. In addition, players have access to more than 300 magic spells.

Etherlords is in development at Nival Interactive, and it is scheduled for release this holiday season. For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game.
