Fnatic loses	Alliances wins

Fnatic (6-1) vs Alliance (2-6)

It isn’t looking pretty for Alliance. Dubbed the “EU Super-Team” leading into the LCS, Alliance looked like they had to the potential to be a top tier team. But, their performance so far has been less than impressive. A 2-6 record isn’t what you’d expect from players of Froggen’s or Nyph’s pedigree. However, some EU LCS players still have high hopes for the team. In a recent interview, Millenium’s jungler, Araneae, said: “...I believe that they will step up and become one of the best European teams for sure.“

On the other side of the rankings, Fnatic has shown that they haven’t slowed down from their impressive World Championship performance. Their only loss so far this split has been at the hands of Gambit Gaming, who are trailing closely behind in second place. Martin “Rekkles” Larsson holds a KDA of 10.3, the best of any player in Europe.

Millenium (2-5) vs ROCCAT (5-3)

Millenium picked up a much needed win at IEM Sao Paulo last week. Their debut in this season of the LCS has been dismal, finishing week 2 with a 2-5 record. Millenium’s jungler has cited his exams as the cause for his lackluster play. He also claims that now he can focus on his gameplay, he will improve by an order of magnitude.

ROCCAT started their LCS performance with a bang, clinching a third place spot. ROCCAT’s mid laner, Overpow, even picked up the week two MVP, with a KDA of 25.0. Despite qualifying via the promotion tournament, they have been able to take down veteran teams like Gambit. In only three weeks, ROCCAT have established themselves in the European scene.

Copenhagen Wolves (3-5) vs Gambit Gaming (6-2)

A 3-5 record isn’t what a team would dream for, but it’s enough to tie for fifth place. Considering this roster have only three weeks of LCS experience together, their score isn’t anything to laugh at. But, facing off against European legends, Gamit Gaming, could pose a challenge.

Gambit gave Fnatic their first loss of the season last week in a nail biting match. The “Russian Overlords” have returned to their former glory after being reunited with their support player, Edward. Since then, Gambit’s synergy in the bot lane has improved dramatically. If everything goes according to plan, Gambit should come out of week 4 unscathed.
