EverQuest price drops
Sony Online prices the original version of the online role-playing game for the mass market.
Sony Online Entertainment has announced that it is relaunching its online role-playing game EverQuest at a new price of $9.99. The game was developed by Verant Interactive, and since its release in early 1999, it has sold more than one million copies. The new package will not include the two expansion packs for the game, EverQuest: The Ruins of Kunark and EverQuest: The Scars of Velious.
Sony Online hopes the new price and packaging will attract more casual gamers. EverQuest has a monthly subscription fee of $9.89 and currently has hundreds of thousands of subscribers from around the world. For more information, take a look at our extensive EverQuest archive.
