EyeToy site launches
SCEE launches the official Web site for its upcoming USB-camera-based collection of minigames for the PS2.
Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has today launched the official Web site for EyeToy: Play, which is scheduled for release in Europe next month. EyeToy: Play is essentially a collection of bizarre minigames, and its most intriguing feature is that the games are played simply by moving in front of a USB camera that's supplied as part of the package.
The EyeToy Web site that launched today is available in 11 different languages, and, in addition to information on how the EyeToy camera works, it offers a number of gameplay videos and screensavers for download. There's also a competition in which visitors who prove they have what it takes to set up an EyeToy camera can win one for themselves. For more information on EyeToy: Play, which hasn't currently been confirmed for a North American release, check out our previous coverage of the game.
