The alpha version of the game is finally ready! November 10 is when the beta testing begins.

It's been a long time since I've been truly excited for a game. Nowadays, games that make my palms itch and fingers twitch with the need to play them are VERY rare. The last time this happened was with the 'The Last of Us' and before that, 'Skyrim', 'Mass Effect 2', 'Fallout 3', etc.

When a game as promising as this one comes around, it's a special moment for myself as a gamer. Now all that's left are two simple hopes:

.1 - That my local GameStop (the location I have it pre-ordered at) has a midnight release cause I'll have college/work during the time it would "normally" be out till late, and the wait would be horrible - though it might be worse having put 7+ hours in just before my workday started...

And,

.2 - That there are no game-breaking bugs day one. Small ones that don't affect play-ability are fine and understandable, but bigger ones would slightly ruin the first experience of something I am so highly anticipating.

Gonna be great... hopefully. :D

To say that I am super excited would be the understatement of my life time !!!!! It's now reaching a point where I may storm Bethesda's HQ and steal a copy xD. I cannot wait any more. Me want this game now !!!!!

"Bethesda Game Studios has completed work on Fallout 4". Based on their track record I highly doubt this statement :). Nonetheless I am excited and can't wait to play!

(Hey, I'm a lifetime fan of FO and Elder Scrolls, which means "I've learned my lessons." On a related example, even the re-release of Wasteland 2 is rife with game-breaking bugs for recruitable NPCs -- and that game came out a year ago.)

The worst part about working in retail is knowing that every time I go into the warehouse for a couple days before release they'll be there. Watching me. Staring into my soul.

My body is ready.

I can hardly wait for this one. I haven't been this excited about an upcoming game since Skyrim. Yup... Love them open world Bethesda games.

Witcher 3, Metal Gear 5, Fallout 4 -- all sequels -- all better than the sum of their predecessors...well, except Fallout 4. That still remains to be seen, but those cases sure do look nice! (If it's only as good as 3, I'll still be happy. More Fallout is always a good thing)

Music to my ears. It has been a wait of over 6 years for new Fallout content from Bethesda, and especially over the last year or so, it has not been easy at all. But in the end, I'm glad they decided to wait till Fallout 4 was basically done to announce it. I hope more devs/publishers adopt a similar approach in the future instead of announcing 2 or more years out and then delaying 3 or even 4 times till release.

This is going to be so awesome, just a few weeks left too :D This is definitely a potential GOTY if done well, along with Witcher 3. Would include MGSV but that game is incomplete.

Between Fallout 4 and Jessica Jones I'm going to have a busy mid November.
