A number of Fallout 4 "myths" have been put to the test as part of the latest installment in YouTube channel DefendTheHouse's long-running Mythbusters series. Myths tested in the video below include, "You can use furniture to enter locked buildings"; "You can be killed by a crashing Vertibird"; "It's impossible to remove all limbs from an enemy without killing them"; and more. Watch the video below.

The Fallout 4 video is labeled as Episode 1, suggesting more are coming. Given the size and non-linear nature of Fallout 4, it's not tough to imagine this series spanning numerous installments over time.

Visit DefendTheHouse's YouTube channel to see a variety of its other Mythbusters videos, including those based on Halo 5: Guardians, Call of Duty: Black Ops III, and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, among many others. Note that the channel is not officially associated with the Discovery channel TV program Mythbusters, which is coming to an end soon after 14 seasons..

Fallout 4 launched on November 10 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Bethesda shipped 12 million physical copies of the game to retailers for launch day, though it's unclear how many were actually sold through to consumers. Estimates from research group SuperData suggest the game sold 1.8 million copies across digital channels in its first three days. Whatever the case, the game is clearly off to a strong start.
